Happy New Year Everybody! I'm back from Paradise!

So let's start first by the beginning at Dubai Airport... we started with 4 hours delay thanks to Mihin Lanka (Airlines low cost) but it gave us the opportunity to know why in french we have an expression called "La file indienne"!


But as you can see from the face of my friend Yaya we are very happy to go! He came from my birth place Strasbourg! for the holidays in Sri Lanka and also to visit for the first time Dududubaiiii ;)


My seat neighbour in the plane was a Sri Lankan working in Dubai, his name is David! Thank you to him as he help us grabbing a cheaper taxi to Hikkaduwa...

Ok you see on the right this scooter with some seats? It's a tuc tuc... a cheap taxi and you can even put your board on its roof...


Yeapa I'm a surfer! It was in Welligama and it was the first time I was able to stand on my board! Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

This is how we started the year! A little bit of Jameson with Yaya and the crazy Kiwis (one is missing in action) that were staying at the guesthouse...


A police girl? Yes just one as in this country the police and the army are everywhere on the road, everywhere...


Ok it was just a short panorama and there is a lot more but then it become very personnal or just holidays picture so here is the departure!
As you can see the flight was delayed... Thanks for the time that we were not really happy to spend at Colombo airport!


But the lady from the company had a beautiful smile so if she is happy I'm happy ;)


And here is the family... Thank you Nilantha, the Ulm and the Basel Family because we had a fantastic and funny time with you guys!



Honestly go to Sri Lanka, visit Hikkaduwa, Galle, Welligama, Kandy... Have a look on the internet at all those place!
Go surfing there the wave are good, Go relax there the reggaie is on all day long!
