Hey Sheik Mo? What happended?? Why in Abu Dhabi and not in Dubai?
Well as some might have seen in the news Abu Dhabi will get his Formula 1 Grand Prix! I am quite excited of that because it is only at 1h30 from Dubai but still I would have prefer to have it here!
Anyway it is confirmed:
"Abu Dhabi: It is official now.
Abu Dhabi signed a deal with Formula One Management at the Emirates Palace Hotel yesterday, a week after Gulf News reported that the capital had secured the rights to stage a Formula One car racing Grand Prix in 2009....
Already under construction, the three-section circuit for the Grand Prix is located on the 2,550 hectare Yas Island off the east coast of Abu Dhabi and only minutes from Abu Dhabi International Airport."
